It was reveal about 5-6 years ago he planned to release Nathaniel Marston, a good awhile before Malone's return and the Al/Marcie pairing caught on.

I adored Gabrielle. Malone must have hated her. First he killed off her son, and then months later just as Gabrielle was started to deal with the grief, he kills her off next to a toilet.

I absolutely hated how they got rid of her, talk about a big middle finger at the audience, THAT was it. She was wonderful, fun, clever... I guess those would be things that Dena couldn't handle?

She was just perfect. I loved her with Todd. He depended on her and she wouldn't let him down... and he wouldn't let her down. It was finally a relationship on equal footing...

His body was never found after the helicopter crash in Lebanon 25 years ago so Tony's return would be ten times more feasible than most other ''returns from the dead''. And it would do so much for the show in terms for restoring The Lords back to the center of the show and it could also be very edgy given given he could have been a POW along with exploring the shock of the changes to Llanview and his family in the last quarter century. He would know Viki as Viki...
