As soon as his cancer was detected, I noticed the immediate attempt at the"canonization" of old Teddy Kennedy by the mainstream media.

They are saying what a "great American" he is. I say, let's get a couple things clear & nottwist the facts to change the real history.

1. He was caught cheating at Harvard when he attended it....

I guess we will never know. As a Christian, isn't suicide the one of the two ways not to get into heaven? What was the size of his insurance policy. Another thing that has crossed my mind is did he die or has he left the country, Aspen is small, his body would have had to be taken into Glenwood Springs, or flown out...something we may never know.

I would really like to think that he had a conscience and did feel for all his employees he and his cohorts bilked out of their money.

Seeing him on tv explaining about the port situation, does nothing to pick up my confidence. This is the idiot that didn't get it when the nations worst disaster Katrina was approaching and now this?

This poor woman has her hands full without becoming the poster child for Move On and other radical organizations. She's lost her son, her husband is divorcing her, her mother had a stroke. The first she could do nothing about, the last two, she had a hand in. Oh she's on the news now, so were the Schivaos and their brain dead daughter, they were in Florida, Sheehan camps out in Texas, does anyone see the political motivation by Move On and others? I do.

Her commercial just ran on tv...

Its like a remake of The Stepford Wifes, its hell when the star of the show is Al Sharpton. What was Kerry trying to prove coming in on that board? Like Drudge said "Saving Private Ryan" again? The Kerry show is more like "Wag The Dog".

A northerner can't win without a southerner on the ticket. Why do you think Johnson was on the ticket with Kennedy? Kerry needs to stop talking out of both sides of his mouth, southerners are educated now.

World War II Memorial dedication .........

Anybody watch this dedication service yesterday of the World War II Memorial? It was a very special tribute and easy to tell that it meant so much to those WW2 vets still alive today. I only wish the vets that have passed on could have seen it, and who knows, maybe somewhere they can. It is a beautiful memorial. All the speeches by Pres. Bush, Tom Hanks, and everyone was just great and inspiring. So glad they finally got this memorial finished and dedicated.

Any thoughts on the beheading of the American?

There is a link at D/L but I didn't download it. The posters say it was especially gruesome, he was held down and it was more like sawing his head off. Some say he was alive and you can hear the screams, others say the screams are coming from the next room. Either way, we have to do something very drastic to put a stop to this.

He's being held captive in Iraq and Sunday was suppose to be the deadline and if their demands weren't met, they were going to kill him. Its now Monday and he hasn't been heard from and his fate is unknown.

9-11 is the Airlines fault and nobody else's.....

After the very first airplane was hijacked, why didn't the airlines change the cockpit door? Install cameras? Why? It would cut into their monies, I mean, hey a free trip to Cuba?

Condie Rice and all it is costing for this tv mess, going to ruin my soap operas, just get the airline wheels up to congress and ask them how important security was and is to them. No, we the taxpayer should not have bailed them out, it would have been a great chance for some new airlines that do care about...

Saw some news with Kerry playing ice hockey somewhere, and later Dean playing the guitar. They both made better impressions on me this way than the other way we usually see them. Although both have interesting political stand points, we also need to know a little bit about the Man behind the job, etc. It was a nice touch by both candidates.

Heard that some states may try letting people vote in the primary elections, or other elections, by voting online. Now, that is something I could go for. Sounds quick and easy. Don't know how accurate it would be. However, with so many people everywhere doing business and other transactions online these days, it does seem like the wave of the future. It might even prompt more people to register and vote in the elections, and that would certainly be a good thing.
