In light of the current news that this years Super Soap Weekend will be the last, fans from all walks of life are uniting to try and get this decision over turned. There has been an online petition started to gather names and to eventually have this sent to the execs at Disney, ABC and soapnet.

Is it in other states too? Some con artist comes to the door pretending to be an insurance salesperson. When they get into the home, they provide a slick presentation, brochures that are authentic for some fake company, if you buy into their spill, they change your medicare to their fake plan. One couple paid $3,000 up front but when the husband needed to use it at the hospital they were told it was no good.

My own opinion: while the Duke players are not choir boys, I think the woman is a liar. Getting indicted is nothing, grand juries indict just about anyone the d a wants. The woman is looking for money, other strippers have said things do go on such as sex at private parties, the price has to be determined. I want to know what drugs were in this womans blood, was a blood test even taken from this woman.

I will certainly say I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

Public School STate testing rant

My 8 year old son is stressed. That is incredibly upsetting. He's 8! His teacher has been preparing his class for the next round (math) of NYS testing. He had a total meltdown yesterday because he is worried. The same thing happened for the ELA tests. I am sick of my kids being stressed about these ridiculous tests. Our teachers spend more time in test prep than on curriculum. There has to be a better way. I am ready to boycott the tests. I plan to look into the ramifications, but I'm ready...

okay so i wanna know,,, how come the story lines are written for years at a time,,,lol,,, i mean it take for everrrrrrrrr for a story to unfold,, it take so long, i can miss two weeks, and not miss a thing....now thats sad.....can somebody please cut the storylines a tad bit short or sumthin,,,.. oh yeh,,,, Adrianna is gettin woresome.. poor Rex and Duke,,,, Rex needs to get wit sumone else other than her... also can yall speed up the story line between marcie and hugh,, i love them...

Why no bashing at soap boards?

I've read another soap board is moving and one of the rules is not to bash the writers or production staff. This board TLB is monitored for nicknames some feel doesn't do a character justice.

Its making me feel like we have to go to a private room to be able to speak our minds and then make sure we know who is in the room, reminesent of a bygone era.

Someone please tell me what is going on? Is it the threat of lawsuits? I really have no idea.

I've been running for the past few years, and mark myself with an annual 5K, which was today (my time was okay, much better than expected as training was spotty due to a running injury.)
However, the big story is that my daughter, who wears a leg brace (her right ankle has significant pronation), decided after watching me to do the kids race -- 1/2 mile. She ran most of it (with some encouragement), and wasn't last place (not that it was counting per say. everyone had the number 1 on...
